Whether you are getting into an apartment down the street or bought a house across the country there are a lot of moving pieces involved, pun intended ;-). Even those who are diligent can feel the overwhelming burden of having to do all the work. With busy lives and still having to juggle family, work and needs. Getting to those boxes can be daunting. Many times on the unpacking side you wind up with a few boxes in your garage that are still waiting to be opened for months. However, it doesn't always have to be this way. This is where we can come in and be of help. We can handle every aspect and need of your move:
Hiring the movers (local, national or international)
Overseeing the complete move-out & move-in process
Arranging of handymen, painters & cleaning crew
We will come in and help you sort through your things to make sure you don't take any unnecessary items you've been meaning to not keep. Saving you time at both ends of the process. Remember moving companies charge per time if local or weight if long distance. Therefore you don't want to lug to your new location items that will only cost you more and waste your time unpacking just to get rid of on the other end. As part of our service we make sure to:
Handle purchasing of packing supplies (within your budget).
Put a plan in motion for the needs in priority order of packing.
Categorize and label boxes to insure easy transition to what rooms they will be going to.
Help with discarding the unwanted items and take donations for you (depending on specifics, please inquire).
Once in your new home our crew comes in and takes care of getting all your items in proper places with a system to ensure you're getting off on the right foot in a fresh new, functional and beautiful home. Including:
Shopping for organizing product at your budget (if desired).
We will remove all boxes and paper.
As moving is always stressful we understand that even more so for those who are rightsizing, transitioning to senior communities/homes or aging in place. Our crew will be extra sensitive to their specific needs and we will take extra measures to plan out with all those involved (caregivers, family and/or housing admin).
